There are many ways to achieve the switch from your full-time job to freelancing. For me, it was a gradual, steady build that started with me working at night and weekends (sometimes called “moonlighting”), eventually leaving my full-time job for a part-time job (touring in a band) while increasing my freelancing hours, and ultimately having the freelance business be my full-time income.
Every freelancer has their own story and they’re fascinating to hear. I LOVE hearing stories of how folks broke out of their 8-5 job and broke into web. I can’t wait to hear your story.
